In that case, simply browse to where you have moved " My EndNote Library.Data" and click the PDF folder and we will search all the sub-folders for the PDFs. EndNote import only works on the Desktop.All those fields are saved that you created in EndNote and will be stored in something we call "Custom Metadata" This is a hidden field for now that we will allow you to create and edit in a future update. The application will try and match to the closest type but if it can't figure it out it will set the type to "Journal Article". For instance, you could create a type of "Social Media" in EndNote and have custom fields for it. EndNote allows you to create custom types of files.By default, the app won't know where to get those files. EndNote hides where your files are located.As a workaround, you can always export your groups one by one and import them manually into lists.
